Agility

Venue: Blewbury Riding Centre

Times: 7.30pm to 10pm on Thursday evenings.

Classes:
We train at all levels from beginners to serious competition level, and have handlers of all ages.  We have a separate class for mini (up to 15 inches at the shoulder) and midi (15 to 17inches at the shoulder) dogs.  Classes last 40-45 minutes, and are in courses of 8 weeks.

Training:
There is a waiting list for agility - we take in beginners when there is room in the beginners class.  Please contact us for details.

Progress Awards:
Bronze - for handlers and dogs successfully completing 6-8 obstacles with jumps at 2 foot (standard dogs).
Silver - for handlers and dogs who make a competant attempt at 16-20 obstacles at starter level.
Gold - for handlers achieving their first clear round in an open competition.

Annual competition awards:
Wallingford members who successfully compete in open shows can post their points for the club award scheme.  There are categories for Elementary, Starter, Novice, Senior, Mini and Midi dogs, and for those with steady, accurate dogs who collect lots of clear rounds but few places, they can nominate that dog for the Clear Round category.  Awards will be presented at the AGM next spring.
